Most of our local lodges and resorts offer all-inclusive packages that include meals, accommodations and fishing. Three-day packages are popular, but many options are available. Location and time of year will dictate species and type of fishing available.
REMOTE WILDERNESS CABINS
Want to really get off the grid? These cabins, a “best kept secret” among Alaskans, are located on salt or freshwater and offer a true wilderness getaway. All you have to do is make a reservation, arrange for boat or floatplane transfer, and pack in your own food and gear (available for rent). The reward is breathtaking scenery and sweet solitude!
KAYAKING ADVENTURE
Travel by boat to Misty Fjords National Monument and spend a few days kayaking the glacially carved fjords. Or take a guided kayaking trip, which includes hiking and camping in the wilderness.

From Ketchikan, you are a short ferry or air taxi ride away from our neighboring communities. Prince of Wales Island, home to home to a diverse collection of small communities, features over 2,000 miles of roads through the Tongass National Forest.
