Sightseeing Tours through town guide you to local attractions and share information about the history and culture of Ketchikan. FlightseeingFlightseeing in an Alaskan bush plane, or floatplane, are also popular. Tour options include bear watching, trips to Misty Fiords National Monument, freight and mail runs to outlying communities, and drops at recreational areas.
CruisesTo enjoy the area by water, consider a guided or bare boat cruise for day trips, or overnight adventures. Cruise Ketchikan’s fascinating waterfront on a catamaran or semi-submersible vessel and visit local points of interest. Combine a memorable meal at a remote beachside camp with fishing, or explore local Dungeness crab grounds before feasting at a traditional crab feed.
Activities
Guided and self-guided walking tours offer a chance to explore at a more leisurely pace.
Activities provide an interactive experience for hands-on travelers. Paddle across a mountain lake in a 24 person canoe, or kayak along the waterfront in town or in remote locations.
