Storyhour at the Library: The Children's Library, located at 629 Dock Street, provides a regular storyhour Thursday and Fridays at 10:30 a.m. After some play time, the librarian reads stories, sings songs, does finger plays and shows a short film. Yarn Bee: The fourth Sunday of each month the adukt library has a Yarn Bee from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.. Each session begins with a brief presentation which is followed by time to socialize and work on projects. refreshments are served. The library is located at 629 Dock Street. Gospel/Bluegrass Jam Sessions: Jam  to Gospel/bluegrass music every Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. at the stARTled Salmon in the Cape Fox Marketplace located at 500 Mission Street. 

The Monthly Grind: September - May. Coffeehouse/variety show in its 17th season. Ticket Prices: $5.00; for adults and $1.00 for children-Showcases the talents of local musicians, storytellers, poets, and dancers. A family tradition. Coffee, tea and dessert included in the price of admission. Bring a dessert and get a refund. Saxman Tribal House at 7:00 pm. The New York Cafe: Live music every Friday night at the New York Cafe/Ketchikan Coffee Company, located at 207 Stedman Street. Bluegrass jams start at 6:00 p.m. and the restaurant prepares light diiners and appetizers. For further information, contact 907-247-2326.  

Sweet Second Saturdays: Dances will be held every second Saturday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Cape Fox Marketplace commons, 500 Mission Street. Donation of $5.00 will be accepted for those 16 years and older.
