What makes up a vacation package or special?
A vacation package is a multi-day experience (e.g., 3 days, 4 nights) that includes lodging and other activities in a single price. A vacation packages give visitors a convenient way to experience Ketchikan, and is an opportunity for members to create new opportunities. Members offering vacation packages must be willing to accept a single payment for the package and be responsible for payment to any partners.
A special is a value added offer on a single component, for example a discount on regular pricing, a free item or other value for the purchaser.
KVB Members receive one free vacation package or special listing per year, with one change allowed each quarter. Additional listings are available for just $50.00 per year.
How do I get started?
- Vacation Packages: Identify members you would like to work with and together, create your package. Decide on things such as pricing, date availability, logistics, who will be the primary contact for reservations, and cancellation guidelines.
- Specials: Determine your offer and the pricing structure, as well as dates and any restrictions.
- If you have a Web site, create a page or e-mail address that we can direct visitors to.
- Use the Vacation Package/Specials Form to submit your vacation package or special offering.
- After we review your completed form, we will invoice you and post your Vacation Package or Special to the site.

First Listing: One FREE Vacation Package or Special listing per year to KVB members in good standing
Additional Listings: $50.00 per year
